Driftway
Capital

A boutique real estate investment platform focused on value-add and core-plus multifamily opportunities across the Northeast's most resilient markets.

Disciplined Capital, Enduring Value

Driftway Capital is a multifamily investment platform focused on the Northeast markets, combining deep local market expertise with institutional investment discipline to identify and execute high-conviction opportunities.

Our focus is the acquisition, repositioning, and asset management of multifamily assets — from core-plus stabilized communities to complex value-add and distressed situations requiring recapitalization, restructuring, and operational transformation.

Driftway targets a specific and underserved opportunity: the institutionalization of non-institutional multifamily assets. These are communities that have historically been owned and operated outside of institutional capital — lacking the operational infrastructure, physical condition, or scale that larger investors require. Driftway seeks to close that gap by implementing operational expertise and efficiencies, executing targeted property and tenancy upgrades, and building scale across complementary assets — transforming communities that fall outside the reach of traditional institutional capital into high-quality, stabilized portfolios positioned for long-term performance.

Founded by a proven senior leader with over two decades of experience co-leading platforms at BlackRock and Angelo Gordon, Driftway brings institutional-caliber underwriting and asset management to a focused regional mandate. The firm's leadership has built a longstanding and successful track record of investing in, repositioning, and creating value across multifamily assets throughout the Northeast.

Christina Lyndon

Christina Lyndon is the Founder and Managing Partner of Driftway Capital. She brings over 20 years of institutional multifamily investment experience, with a singular focus on the New England and Mid-Atlantic multifamily markets — regions she has covered and invested in throughout her career. Over that time, Christina has overseen the investment in more than 30,000 multifamily units, developing an unmatched depth of market knowledge, operator relationships, and deal execution expertise across the region's highest-barrier submarkets.

Prior to founding Driftway Capital, Christina served as Co-Head of US Real Estate at BlackRock, where she co-led a $10+ billion real estate private equity platform and managed a 40-person investment team encompassing acquisitions, asset management, construction management, and research. As a member of both the Global and U.S. Real Estate Executive Committees and the Global Value Add and U.S. Investment Committees, Christina directed core, core-plus, and value-add strategies across open and closed-end funds and separate accounts.

Prior to BlackRock, Christina spent 15 years as a Partner and Managing Director at Angelo Gordon, where she oversaw the firm's Mid-Atlantic and New England investment activity for its flagship U.S. real estate fund, and served on the U.S. Investment Committee. Christina's experience spans all asset classes, with particular expertise in distressed situations — REO properties, foreclosures, and complex workouts — requiring recapitalization, restructuring, and operational repositioning.
